Partner + Founding Member
Recognized by the Lansing, MI Regional Chamber with a Ten Over the Next Ten award -- given to the ten young professionals to watch over the next ten years -- Julielyn Gibbons has rapidly emerged as a nationally respected pioneer in social media and Internet strategies. Her online outreach and marketing plans were acknowledged as key to the passage of Proposal 2, the 2008 stem cell ballot proposal in the state of Michigan, and her groundbreaking work with advocacy groups earned her a formal recognition by U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan. Julielyn's track record for success with new media and her experience as a blogger made her the first blogger credentialed in the Michigan State Capital.
Julielyn's work for the state of Michigan has earned broad national respect, arising from her successful advocacy on important healthcare issues and her status as one of the first online outreach directors for a state party. She served as an online campaign coordinator for Progress Michigan, the Internet outreach director for the Michigan Democratic Party, and the online campaign strategist and organizer for Michigan's progressive blogging community -- all by the age of 28.
A true 'digital native', she has over a decade of direct, hands-on, 'in the trenches' experience with the power of social media and Internet strategies, with proven success helping her clients reach their goals online. Julielyn has presented in front of thousands across the country and she is a highly-sought after speaker and presenter. She recently completed a senior fellowship with the New Organizing Institute and serves as a national trainer with Democracy for America.
As the founding member and partner of the rapidly growing i3 Strategies consulting firm, Julielyn serves a wide array of organizations, from businesses to non profit institutions and political campaigns. Her passion is to help her clients navigate and leverage the profusion of resources across the Internet, to reach out into the mysterious dark and find the tools to thrive in these economically trying times.
Julielyn currently heads up i3's Washington, D.C. office.
It's true: about 99 percent of the Internet's tools are free. There are thousands of them. And more every day. But then what?
What social networking tools are available? How do you use them? How often? How is your time best spent? Is Twitter worthwhile? How about Facebook and blogs? How do you get people to read them? What audience are they reaching? How can you get an audience to not only open an email, but to act? What actually works?
We at i3 Strategies answer these questions and help you toward your goal. We've helped other businesses like yours meet their goals through our unique combination of services.
Drawing from years of real-world experience with Internet strategies and social media, i3 Strategies helps your organization develop a customized roadmap and organized game plan for navigating and utilizing online tools to achieve increased and measurable returns.
